DURHAM, N.C. – With the conclusion of the regular season on Thursday evening, the ACC Women's Soccer Championship bracket has been released with the Blue Devils earning the No. 1 seed and receiving a quarterfinal bye in the tournament.
Duke, who concluded the ACC regular season undefeated for only the third time in program history, finished with a 9-0-1 ledger. It marked only the second time in Blue Devil lore that Duke (14-1-1) reached nine ACC wins. Duke capped off the regular season with back-to-back road top 10 wins and now owns four victories over teams ranked No. 7 or better.
The Blue Devils will play either No. 4 seed North Carolina or No. 5 seed Virginia Tech on Thursday, Nov. 7 at 5:30 p.m., or 8 p.m., live on the ACC Network from WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary.
The quarterfinal matchup between UNC and Virginia Tech will take place Sunday, Nov. 3 at 6 p.m., while No. 6 Notre Dame will travel to No. 3 Florida State on Sunday for an 8 p.m., contest. Wake Forest received the No. 2 seed and earned a bye in the quarterfinals. The Demon Deacons will play the FSU/Notre Dame winner on Nov. 7.
The ACC Championship match is set for Sunday, Nov. 10 at 12 p.m., live on ESPNU at WakeMed Soccer Park.
