COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Duke women's basketball signee Arianna Roberson was selected as one of 12 players to the 2024 USA Women's Nike Hoop Summit roster, USA Basketball announced on Thursday.
The 2024 Nike Hoop Summit is set to air live on FS1 with the women's game tipping at 7:30 p.m., ET/4:30 p.m., PT. The men's game is slated to follow at approximately 10:00 p.m., ET/7:00 p.m., PT.
Roberson's selection marks her first appearance with USA Basketball. A 6-4 center from San Antonio, Texas, she signed her National Letter of Intent with the Blue Devils during the NCAA's early signing period this past November. Heralded as the No. 19 prospect in the espnW 2024 rankings and the No. 2 player out of the Lone Star State, Roberson is averaging 17.3 points and 12.3 boards per game as a senior while helping lead Clark to a 22-2 overall record.
Tabbed the 2023 San Antonio Express-News Player of the Year and the District 28-6A Defensive Player of the Year, Roberson averaged a double-double of 15.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game during her junior campaign, pairing that with 4.0 blocks and 2.0 steals while helping lead Clark High School to a 34-3 overall record. This mark included an unblemished 16-0 record in District 28 action, and the UIL Class 6A State Championship – the first in school history for Clark. Roberson received tournament MVP honors following a 24 point, 15 rebound performance in the title game.
