DURHAM - For the first time since Sept. 8, the Duke men's soccer team returns to the friendly confines of Koskinen Stadium for a home game. The Blue Devils (4-1-2, 1-2-0) welcome College of Charleston (2-0-5, 1-0-2) to Durham in a Tuesday-night tilt, with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. The broadcast is available on ACC Network Extra, with Matt Krause on the call.
The Blue Devils are 5-2-0 all-time against College of Charleston, but have not clashed with the Cougars with head coach
John Kerr at the helm. The last meeting between the two teams came in 2005, a 3-2 victory in overtime by Duke in Durham.Â
No. 11 Duke aims to bounce back from a 2-1 defeat at North Carolina on Sunday afternoon, a game in which the Blue Devils out-shot the Tar Heels and played with a man-up advantage for the final 25 minutes, but were unable to find an equalizer.Â
Tuesday night marks the first of three "Bark at the Park" nights at Koskinen Stadium. Fans can bring their furry friends to the stadium and enjoy a discounted $5 ticket with dogs entering free. All fans bringing their dog must sit in the bleachers across from Kennedy Tower.
