DURHAM – Duke women's basketball learned its opponent for the 2023 ACC/SEC Women's Challenge, as the ACC and SEC Conference offices, in coordination with ESPN, announced the matchups for the inaugural interconference challenge Wednesday morning.
The Blue Devils will square off against Georgia on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m. ET. TV designations for the contest will be announced at a later date. Duke holds a 4-0 record in the all-time series against the Bulldogs with all four meetings taking place at neutral sites. The Blue Devils last played Georgia in the second round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament, posting a 66-40 victory.

The Blue Devils are coming off their most successful season in recent history, finishing the year with a 26-7 overall record, a 14-4 mark in ACC play, a 14-2 ledger at Cameron Indoor Stadium and a trip to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Duke featured one of the nation's most elite defenses over the course of the year, ending the season ranked second in scoring defense, ninth in field goal percentage defense and 10th in blocks. Duke held each of its opponents below its season scoring average, including 17 to 50 points or less.
