Twenty-Four Named to All-ACC Academic Team

DURHAM – Twenty-four members of the Duke women's lacrosse team were selected to the All-ACC Academic Team for the 2023 campaign, as announced by the league office Thursday.

Duke led all schools with 24 honorees. The Blue Devils honored were Jordyn Bauer, Madison Beale, Carly Bernstein, Cubby Biscardi, Missy Biscardi, Anna Callahan, Olivia Carner, Kay Conway, Katie DeSimone, Caroline DeBellis, Madison Drebing, Shaye Fitzpatrick, Eva Greco, Veronica Hineman, Maddie Jenner, Maddie Johnston, Katie Keller, Sophia LeRose, Maddie McCorkle, Kerry Nease, Lexi Schmalz, Julia Schwasnick, Sydney Smith and Reilly Traynor.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.

The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
