Barton was selected as the second team recipient, while Carter received fourth team acknowledgement.
Â
Barton, a 2022 first team All-ACC selection, helped the Blue Devil offense accumulate 2,394 rushing and 3,010 passing yards last season. He started all 13 games at left tackle and created paths for Duke to register 31 rushing touchdowns, which set the program's single-season record. At the conclusion of the season, Barton held a Pro Football Focus grade of 88.2, which ranked fifth nationally among offensive tackles. In addition, he was the only Power 5 tackle in 2022 to earn 85.0 grades as both a pass blocker and a run blocker.
Â
The Brentwood, Tenn., native has played in 31 career games along the offensive line, making 30 starts.
