DURHAM, N.C. – Former Duke wide receiver Jake Bobo and the Seattle Seahawks are one win away from becoming Super Bowl champions for the second time in franchise history.
Â
Bobo will make his initial Super Bowl appearance on Sunday, when the Seahawks take on the New England Patriots in Santa Clara, California, at 6:30 p.m. on NBC.Â
Â
After making just two catches for 20 yards in the regular season, Bobo has exploded in the postseason with two receptions for 33 yards and one touchdown. Bobo is one of 18 players in the NFC to have at least one touchdown this postseason.Â
Bobo gives the Blue Devils a representative in the Super Bowl for four consecutive years and six of the last seven with Noah Gray (Super Bowl LVII, LVIII & LIX), Ross Cockrell (Super Bowl LV), Laken Tomlinson (Super Bowl LIV) and Daniel Helm (Super Bowl LIV). Former Duke tight end Cooper Helfet was a member of the Seattle Super Bowl XLVIII and Super Bowl XLIX squads with the Seahawks splitting the decisions.Â
