Duke has had 13 players drafted since 2000, including two first-rounders in offensive lineman Laken Tomlinson (2015) and quarterback Daniel Jones (2019), who both signed new contracts with their respective teams within the last two years. Tomlinson joined the New York Jets in 2022 and inked a three-year, $40 million deal, while Jones upped with the New York Giants for $160 million over the next four years.
Â
In the 2020 NFL Draft, the Blue Devils had four selected, which was the most since four choices in 1973. Duke's four picks in 2021 also set a program record for most selections within the first seven rounds.
