DURHAM – Forty members of the Duke track and field program were tabbed to the All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

On the men's side,
Jide Akinjisola,

Beck Wittstadt are the 16 individuals representing the Blue Devils.
Forker, Maatoug, McGinnis and Tolbert all represented the Blue Devils at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the distance medley relay (DMR), while Maatoug also qualified in the mile and 3,000m events. The DMR capped a historic season with United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-America Second Team accolades after clocking 11:21.20. Additionally, Maatoug collected USTFCCCA All-America First Team honors in the mile (4:38.83) while earning a nod to the second team in the 3,000m via a finish of 9:38.14.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Indoor Track and Field Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships and/or the NCAA Indoor Championships during the most recent season.
The ACC Honor Roll, which recognizes all conference student-athletes with a grade point average of 3.0 for the current academic year, will be released in July.
