DURHAM – The eighth-ranked Duke women's tennis team will open a four-match homestand this weekend by hosting a pair of ranked ACC opponents. The Blue Devils (18-2, 7-1 ACC) hosts No. 11 Miami (11-3, 6-1) on Friday, March 31 at 2 p.m., followed by No. 38 Florida State (10-7, 3-4) on Saturday, April 1 at 12 p.m. The matches are scheduled to be played at Ambler Tennis Stadium on campus.
The Series with Miami
Duke and Miami will meet for the 34th time in school history with the Blue Devils leading the series, 20-13. The Blue Devils feature an 8-3 ledger in matches played in Durham, including five wins in a row. Blue Devil head coach

Scouting Miami
Miami has won five straight ACC matches and features an 11-3 overall and 6-1 ACC mark under the direction of head coach Paige Yaroshuk-Tews.
In the latest ITA rankings, Alexa Noel (11), Isabella Pfennig (116) and Daevenia Achong (118) in the singles listing. The duo of Achong and Noel are ranked No. 14, while Noel and Pfennig are No. 53 in doubles.
The Series with Florida State
Duke and Florida State will meet for the 44th time in school history with the Blue Devils leading the series, 37-6. The Blue Devils are 15-1 in matches played in Durham, including six straight wins. Florida State is coming off notching a 4-2 win a year ago in Tallahassee, Fla. Blue Devil head coach

Florida State enters the weekend with a 10-7 overall and 3-4 ACC record under head coach Jennifer Hyde. The Seminoles will face top-ranked North Carolina on Friday, March 31 at 2 p.m., prior to facing the Blue Devils on Saturday.
In the latest ITA rankings, Anna Arkadianou (67) and Vic Allen (108) are listed in singles. The tandem of Arkadianou and Millie Bissett (49) along with Allen and Arkadianou (79) are ranked in doubles.
What is Next?
Duke will continue its four-match homestand as the Blue Devils host Wake Forest on Thursday, April 6 at 5 p.m., followed by NC State on Saturday, April 8 at 11 a.m. The NC State match will mark senior day for the Blue Devils.

Duke's doubles duo of Beck and
Cameron Morra already ranks tied for eighth on Duke's most doubles wins in a season with 27. With two more victories, the tandem will move into a tie for sixth.
20-Win Marks
Over the weekend at Boston College, both
Emma Jackson and
Ellie Coleman reached the 20-win singles marks on the season. The duo has posted 20 singles wins in each of their first two seasons with the Blue Devils.

Duke is currently ranked eighth in the ITA poll, which is sponsored by Tennis-Point. The Blue Devils have been listed in the top 10 of the team rankings in seven of the eight polls this spring. With the preseason top-10 ranking, the Blue Devils have been tabbed in the top 10 in seven straight years under the direction of head coach
Jamie Ashworth. In his 27th season at the helm, Ashworth has guided Duke to a total of 20 top-10 preseason rankings since 2001.

Cameron Morra is No. 70. With a 27-4 ledger on the season, Beck/Morra are 32nd nationally in doubles.
Playing at Home
Duke features a 22-match home winning streak, tied for fifth-longest in school history. The Blue Devils are 11-0 at home this season. The longest streaks in school history are – 54 (2017-21), 28 (2008-10), 28 (2011-13), 26 (2002-04), 22 (1990-92, 2022-23) and 21 (2014-15).
In the ACC, Duke's 22-match winning streak ranks second as North Carolina owns a 71-match streak dating back to 2018.

Blue Devil senior
Chloe Beck became the 29th Blue Devil to reach 100 singles wins over the weekend at Syracuse. She also collected her 100th career doubles win as well. Beck also owns a 66-8 dual match record and has won 21 straight matches.
Graduate student
Cameron Morra became the 28th Blue Devil to reach the 100-win mark at the ITA National Team Indoor Championship earlier this spring.
Win Streak in ACC Action
Senior
Chloe Beck has a 23-match regular season winning streak against ACC foes dating back to her sophomore campaign. Beck went 13-0 last season becoming just the fourth Blue Devil to go undefeated in ACC play with 10 or more wins. She has opened 2023 ACC play with an 8-0 ledger. Overall, Beck has notched a 32-2 ACC singles mark and a 25-4 ACC doubles ledger in her career.
Brianna Shvets boasts an undefeated, 7-0, record in ACC action in 2023.
Duke's new doubles team of

Iuliia Bryzgalova has collected a 9-0 record this season, including an 8-0 ledger in ACC play.
Doubles Play
After winning the doubles point in the first eight matches, Duke dropped the doubles point in three of the next five contests. Duke is coming off winning the doubles point in seven straight matches. The Blue Devils have dropped the doubles point in both losses this season (Oklahoma and Virginia).
