The Duke field hockey program is thrilled to welcome four newcomers to the Blue Devil family this fall. The group hails from three different states – New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas – and one country – The Netherlands.
We've introduced
Kyle Massey and
Sophia Miller. This week, we learn a little more about another Pennsylvania native,
Maggie Kondrath.
Pam Bustin on Maggie
"Maggie's ability to build the play through the midfield arrives at Duke at the perfect time! Her game sense and vision around the ball will aid in our team's commitment to keeping possession, moving the ball and creating dangerous opportunities to attack. Her playing experience and disciplined training with WC Eagles have prepared her for the next step to the ACC collegiate field hockey level."
"Maggie is a caring person. Her ability to connect with her teammates along with an incredible level of empathy will undoubtedly contribute to the nourishment of our Duke True culture. We welcome Maggie and look forward her arrival on campus."
