Coming off a 109-64 victory in Duke's lone exhibition game of the preseason, the second-ranked Blue Devils begin the 119th season of Duke men's basketball on Monday night, welcoming Dartmouth to Cameron Indoor Stadium.
Mike Monaco and Randolph Childress are on the call for ACC Network, with tipoff scheduled for 9 p.m.

Former Duke All-American and two-time team captain Jon Scheyerenters his second season as head coach for the Blue Devils after making history with his head-coaching debut last season.Â
Scheyer became just the third coach in ACC history to win the ACC Tournament in their first season and is the first to win an ACC title as both a player (2009, 2010) and as a coach (2023).
The Blue Devils are coming off an undefeated home season, the 19th in program history, after going a perfect 16-0 inside Cameron Indoor Stadium last season.
Duke returns 60.4 points per game from last season, the most returning points by a Duke team since the 2008-09 season, and four players with 30+ starts for the first time since the 2000-01 season (Shane Battier, Carlos Boozer, Nate James and Jay Williams)
Duke was selected to finish first in the ACC this season, as chosen by media members in their preseason predictions. The Blue Devils earned 44 of the 51 first-place votes and finished with 757 total points, leading Miami, North Carolina and Virginia atop the preseason poll.
Kyle Filipowski, a Preseason AP All-American, led the team in scoring (15.1) and rebounding (8.9) as a freshman and tallied 16 double-doubles -- best by any Division I freshman in 2022-23. Filipowski was voted ACC Preseason Player of the Year in mid-October.
The Blue Devils have three captains this season -- Tyrese Proctor, Jeremy Roachand Ryan Young. Proctor is just the fourth sophomore captain in program history.
Duke and Dartmouth are meeting for the first time.
The Big Green went 10-18 overall last season and 6-8 in the Ivy League.
Following Monday night's contest, the Blue Devils will have played every Ivy League school at least once and hold a 56-9 record against the conference, including wins in 42 of the last 43.
Duke's Three-Point Streak
Duke has connected on at least one three-pointer in 1,189 straight games, the second-longest streak nationally.
It has been more than 30 years since Duke was held without a three-point field goal -- Dec. 30, 1989, versus Hawai'i.
Sellout Streak at Cameron Indoor Nearing 500 Games
Duke has sold out 506 consecutive games at Cameron Indoor Stadium. The last time Duke did not have a sellout at home was on Nov. 16, 1990, against Boston College.
The sellout figure is the longest current streak (by time) in either men's college basketball or the NBA.
Duke's record at Cameron during the sellout streak is 460-46 (.909).
22 Straight Season Openers With a Win
Duke has won 22 consecutive season openers and is 91-27 all-time in those games.
When playing at Cameron Indoor Stadium, the Blue Devils are 48-6 all-time, have been victorious in 40 of the last 41 and have won 29 straight -- their last loss was to Vanderbilt, 76-75, in double overtime on Nov. 26, 1981.
Duke defeated Jacksonville, 71-44, in last year's opener, as Jon Scheyerbecame the fifth straight Duke head coach to win in their debut.
The Blue Devils Have Won Nearly 85% of Games at Cameron Indoor Stadium
Duke has posted an all-time record of 946-171 (.847) at Cameron Indoor, that included a 572-76 (.883) record under Coach K.Â
Duke has won more games at its current home venue than any team in college basketball.
Now in its 85th season as the home of the Blue Devils, Duke has averaged 11.1 wins since the venue opened January 6, 1940 -- a 36-27 win over Princeton.
Returners Aplenty
Duke returns 60.4 points per game from last year's roster, the most by a Duke team since the 2008-09 season, and brings back 77.9% of points scored in 2022-23 -- the most since the 2007-08 Duke team returned 81.3%.
Each of the Blue Devils' top-four scorers from a year ago are on the 2023-24 roster, which is the first time since at least 1997 -- as far back as research allows -- according to ESPN.
Four different players who made 30 or more starts in 2022-23 have returned to Durham, which marks the first time in Duke lore since the 2000-01 roster that included Shane Battier, Carlos Boozer, Nate James and Jay Williams. The 2000-01 team went on to win the program's third national championship.Â
Milestone Watch
Senior guard Jeremy Roachenters the season just 20 points shy of the 1,000 career points threshold while graduate Ryan Youngis 26 points away.
The Blue Devils currently have 67 1,000-point scorers in program history, tied with Notre Dame and Villanova for third-most of any NCAA Division I program
