CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Junior divers Margo O'Meara and Will McCollum were named the Atlantic Coast Conference Divers of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday.
O'Meara returned to the 1-meter board this week for just the second time since returning from injury. The St. Louis, Mo., native posted a score of 345.38, breaking the Taishoff Aquatic Center pool record of 335.85, last set by Kaylea Arnett of Virginia Tech in 2014.
McCollum swept both the 1-meter and 3-meter boards on Friday, placing first in both events. He posted a score of 346.65 in the 1-meter event and 384.53 in the 3-meter event.
The ACC's other weekly honors included Virginia's Gretchen Walsh (Women's Swimmer of the Week) and Connor Boyle (Men's Swimmer of the Week).
