The Blue Devils tied for the fourth-best round on the course in Sunday's final round and were paced individually by

Kelly Chinn was the low Blue Devil overall, as he ended in a tie for 14th place at 4-under, 212.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, Duke finished at 8-under, 280, in the third round. With the under-par effort in the closing round, the Blue Devils secured a finish in red numbers in all three rounds of the event.
- Luke Sample, with his 5-under, 67, was one of just eight individuals in the field to card a 5-under or better in the final round. He started quickly with a birdie on the first hole and added another birdie on the par-4 fifth to reach 2-under. Sample wrapped up a bogey-free front nine with an eagle on the par-5 ninth, making the turn at 4-under. His lone bogey of the round was sandwiched between birdies on holes No. 12 and 16 to close out Sample's round. Overall, he finished at 1-under, 215, and in a tie for 25th place.
- Kelly Chinn signed for a 2-under, 70, in the final round. Similar to Sample, Chinn played the front nine bogey-free, and rolled in a birdie on No. 1, while adding an eagle on No. 9. An up-and-down back nine included back-to-back birdies on holes No. 14 and 15, but suffered dropped shots via a bogey on No. 13 and a double-bogey on No. 17. Chinn finished as the low Blue Devil overall, in a tie for 14th place at 4-under, 212.
- Bryan Kim signed for the third under-par round of the day for Duke, as he fired a 1-under, 71, on Sunday. His round started with a bogey on No. 3, but the dropped shot was quickly offset, with his first birdie of the day, on the very next hole. Kim added another birdie, on No. 7, making the turn at 1-under. Kim made birdie on two of the first three holes on the back nine, but made back-to-back bogeys late in the round to play his final nine holes at even-par. Overall, Kim earned a tie for 22nd place, finishing the event at 2-under, 214.
- Ian Siebers found himself sitting at 4-over walking off of the fifth hole, but battled back through the middle part of his round to finish at even-par, 72, on Sunday. Following two bogeys and a double-bogey through the first five holes, Siebers then caught fire, pouring in four birdies over a span of five holes to move back to even-par after 12 holes. The senior made six straight pars to complete his third round and ended the event in a tie for 67th at 10-over, 226.
- Also for Duke, Jimmy Zheng signed for a 4-over, 76, in the third round. The senior placed in a tie for 38th for the event, at 2-over, 218.
