DURHAM – The Duke volleyball team (11-6, 2-4 ACC) will hit the road for the first of two consecutive road weekends, beginning with Boston College Friday and Syracuse Sunday.
The match against the Eagles will be at 7 p.m. in Chestnut Hill before a 1 p.m. contest against the Orange on Sunday in Syracuse. Both matches will be broadcast on ACCNX.

BOSTON COLLEGE
Duke and Boston College meet for the 29th time in program history as the Blue Devils lead the all-time series, 24-4. Duke has lost its last two matchups in Chestnut Hill.
SYRACUSE
Duke and Syracuse meet for the 15th time in program history with the all-time series tied, 7-7. The Blue Devils are 5-3 in Syracuse and have lost three of the last four meetings.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
BOSTON COLLEGE
Boston College enters Friday's contest 13-7 overall and 2-4 in the ACC. Offensively, the Eagles are led by Halle Schroder with 157 kills, while Katrina Jensen and Alayna Crabtree round out the offense with 155 and 152 kills, respectively. Boston College utilizes two main setters -- Sophia Lambros and Grace Penn -- who own 316 and 282 dimes, respectively. Four different players have collected over 100 digs while Boston College is 24th nationally in total blocks with 168.0. As a team, the Eagles are hitting .208 percent.
SYRACUSE
Syracuse has struggled this fall and is 2-14 overall and 0-6 in conference play. The Orange are led by Cherlin Antonio with 137 kills while setter Mira Ledermueller owns 294 assists. Libero Alyssa Bert paces the defense with 150 digs while Zharia Harris-Waddy leads the blocking unit with 30.0 total blocks. As a team, Syracuse is hitting just .091 percent this season, the worst by a Power 5 school, while its opponents are playing to a .296 clip.
