•   No. 3 Duke (5-1) will host No. 2 North Carolina (5-1) on Thursday, Sept. 8 at 8 p.m., live on ACC Network from Koskinen Stadium. Â
•   Thursday's match will be aired on ACC Network with Jenn Hildreth (PXP) and Lori Lindsey (Color) calling the action. Â
•   The first 100 Blue Devil fans in attendance for Thursday's match will receive a free Duke shirt. Â
•   Duke is in the final leg of one of the most difficult stretches in regular season history for the Blue Devils. On Sept. 1, Duke faced No. 3 UCLA followed by a road contest on Sept. 4 at No. 6 TCU, before hosting second-ranked North Carolina (5-1) on Sept. 8.
•   In the lone match without
Michelle Cooper, the Blue Devils won, 1-0, at ECU, but since her return, Duke has scored 14 goals over its last five matches.

•   Duke has been ranked in a school-record 34 straight weeks in the top 10. That streak, which dates back to Oct. 6, 2020, surpassed the 25 straight polls that listed Duke in the top 10 from 1992-95.

•   A historic rivalry is renewed on Thursday as Duke takes on North Carolina for the 50th time in program history.
•   The Blue Devils trail the all-time series, 4-42-3, and are looking for their first win in the Tobacco Road showdown in Durham, N.C.
•   Duke is coming off collecting a 1-0 victory last season over the Tar Heels with
Tess Boade collecting the game-winner off assists from

•   The 2015 upset over the fifth-ranked Tar Heels saw Imani Dorsey score the match's only goal in the 44th minute as Duke earned a 1-0 road win.
