DURHAM – Duke head coach
Dan Colella and the Blue Devils' swimming and diving program are thrilled to announce the 2022-23 schedule.
Colella announced Thursday the upcoming 2022-23 slate, which is highlighted by three home meets. Duke's schedule features dual meets against five men's and women's squads that earned top-25 finishes at the 2022 NCAA Championships.
"Everyone is looking forward to the 2022-23 campaign," Colella said. "I believe we have put together a great schedule for our Blue Devils this season. We have a mix of schools from different conferences and we know that we will be challenged throughout the course of the season. Let's Go!"
HOME SWEET HOME
Duke opens the 2022-23 season at home against Virginia Tech. The Blue Devils have traveled to Blacksburg, Va. the previous two seasons, falling on the men's side 209-88 while the women defeated the Hokies 170-130.
BLUE DEVILS HOST THREE MEETS
Duke hosts three meets at Taishoff Aquatics Pavilion this season. The Blue Devils open the 2022-23 season on October 22 against Virginia Tech, before welcoming South Carolina to Durham November 4. Duke concludes the home slate on January 14 against NC State, serving as the program's Senior Day celebration.
LOCAL ACTION
Eight of the nine meets that the Blue Devils compete in during the 2022-23 season falls inside the state of North Carolina. Duke travels to Blacksburg, Va. for the final meet of the year on February 5-8. The Hokie Invite serves as the Blue Devils' final tune-up before the combined ACC Championship in Greensboro, N.C.
COMBINED ACC CHAMPIONSHIP
For the second consecutive year, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced that the ACC men's and women's swimming and diving championships will be held jointly at the same location. The combined ACC Championship runs from February 14-18 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
