Men's Basketball -- Duke vs. Gonzaga
In a town known for major championship fights, it seemed only fitting a long-anticipated 40-minute heavyweight bout between No. 1 Gonzaga and No. 5 Duke take place in Las Vegas.
Paolo Banchero scored 21 points to help Duke hold off Gonzaga 84-81 in front of an announced 20,389 fans at T-Mobile Arena — the largest basketball crowd ever in Nevada. Gonzaga battled back from a nine-point deficit early in the second half, but the Blue Devils locked down on the defensive end, holding the Zags to 0-for-5 from the field down the stretch as they closed the game on a 13-9 run.
Wendell Moore Jr. scored 20 points and
Mark Williams added 17 points and nine rebounds for the Blue Devils
Baseball -- Duke vs. North Carolina
After a back-and-forth opening three innings, Duke used a six-run fourth inning to power past No. 15 North Carolina, 9-3, at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in downtown Durham. Senior
RJ Schreck and sophomore
Luke Storm led the Blue Devils offensively. Schreck finished 3-for-4 with a trio of runs scored. Storm finished 2-for-4 with a double, a home run and three RBIs. Sophomore
Luke Fox started on the mound for the Blue Devils, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks in four innings of work. Classmate
Josh Allen entered in relief of Fox, earning the win after allowing no runs or hits in 1.2 innings pitched.
ACC Women's Tennis Championship
Duke women's tennis captured the program's 18th ACC Championship and the first since 2012 with a 4-1 victory over No. 7 Virginia at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Ga. The Blue Devils opened the tournament with a 4-2 win over No. 24 Wake Forest and then defeated 13th-ranked Miami, 4-3, in the semifinals. Head coach

Men's Soccer -- Duke vs. Wake Forest
In a wild, back-and-forth affair, Duke claimed a 3-2 win over Wake Forest to advance to the semifinals of the ACC Championship. The game opened with three goals in the first 31 minutes, as future All-American
Thorleifur Ulfarsson buried two tallies, including one off a set piece free kick. After a late equalizer from the Demon Deacons, the Blue Devils would secure the winner in the 77th minute, as freshman
Jai Bean buried his first collegiate goal off
Cameron Kerr's second assist of the day to put the game out of reach.
Men's Lacrosse -- Duke vs. Virginia
Duke sophomore phenom
Brennan O'Neill registered four goals and four assists, while the Blue Devil defense held the high-powered Virginia offense to just eight goals en route to a commanding 17-8 victory over the No. 6 Cavaliers. The Blue Devils led wire-to-wire and led by as many as nine goals as the victory marked the 16th consecutive ACC regular season victory over Virginia.
Men's Basketball -- Duke vs. North Carolina

AJ Griffin scored a season-high 27 points to help No. 9 Duke roll past rival North Carolina 87-67 in Hall of Fame head coach
Mike Krzyzewski's final visit to Chapel Hill. The Blue Devils shot 58 percent and took all drama out of the renewal of the famed rivalry early in both halves. Duke built a big lead and then after the Tar Heels had made a run to climb back in it, the Blue Devils stretched it back out ultimately putting the game away. The win allowed Duke (19-3, 9-2 ACC) to send Krzyzewski off with a 17th and final victory in the Smith Center, where he coached against the Tar Heels in his opening game in January 1986.
Women's Basketball -- Duke vs. Notre Dame
Senior
Elizabeth Balogun's game winning layup with 30 seconds remaining gave the 15th ranked Duke women's basketball team a thrilling, 72-70, win over No. 17 Notre Dame at Cameron Indoor Stadium. It was tightly contested affair that featured six ties and 13 lead changes. Balogun spearheaded the charge for Duke with a season-high 27 points, scoring 15 after halftime including the final six points for the Blue Devils down the stretch. Kara Lawson her first ACC victory, while marking the first time in school history that the Blue Devils earned back-to-back victories against Notre Dame.
Women's Soccer -- Duke vs. Florida State
Graduate student
Tess Boade scored in the 27th minute and the Duke defense held Florida State scoreless for the first time this season as the No. 6 Blue Devils topped the No. 1 Seminoles, 1-0, at Koskinen Stadium. Goalkeeper
Ruthie Jones tallied four saves over 90 minutes for her 16th career shutout for the Blue Devils. The win marked Duke's first victory over a top-ranked opponent since Oct. 9, 2005, when the Blue Devils beat No. 1 North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Softball -- Duke vs. Georgia
In a winner-take-all game at the first NCAA Regional in Durham, the Blue Devils rode a wave of standout offense en route to a 13-5 win over Georgia in six innings to advance to the program's first Super Regional. Despite an early 5-1 lead for the Bulldogs, the Blue Devils offense caught fire in the third inning and didn't look back, tallying 12 runs over the last four frames.
Kristina Foreman shined, tallying five RBI, including the game-breaking double to clear the bases and take a 10-5 lead. Sophomore
Jala Wright shined in her biggest postseason moment, throwing three hitless innings of relief to lock down a win.
Women's Lacrosse -- Duke vs. Boston College
Senior
Maddie Jenner's goal with 1:21 remaining pushed seventh-ranked Duke past second-ranked Boston College, 16-15, in thrilling women's lacrosse action in Koskinen Stadium. With the victory, the Blue Devils won their ninth game in a row, improved to 15-1, 6-1 ACC and handed the Eagles just their second loss of the season. Duke's record at the time was tied for its best start since 2006, when the Blue Devils were ACC regular season champions and reached the NCAA semifinal game.
