GREENSBORO, N.C. – No. 11 Duke softball (40-7, 19-3 ACC) has been seeded No. 2 in the 2022 ACC Championship, as the ACC announced its championship bracket on Sunday.
With the No. 2 seed, the Blue Devils have secured the highest ACC Championship seed in program history, besting last season's No. 3 placement.
Duke will play the winner of seventh-seeded Georgia Tech (36-15, 11-13 ACC) and 10th-seeded NC State (33-21, 7-16 ACC), in the quarterfinal round of the single elimination tournament on Thursday, May 12 at 5 p.m., on ACC Network.
The Blue Devils are 3-2 all-time in the ACC Tournament, winning the program's first title last season with wins over Louisville, Florida State and Clemson.
The Blue Devils swept both potential quarterfinal opponents this season, winning 9-1 (F/5), 10-3 and 6-1 at Georgia Tech, while downing NC State, 7-1, 3-1 and 8-0 (F/5) in Durham.

All seating will be general admission and all tickets will be digital. Current students at ACC institutions will receive free admission with a valid school ID.
Active military/veterans will receive free admission with a valid military ID, and youth ages two or younger will also receive free admission.
