Foreman, Jacobsen Tabbed to ACC All-Tournament Team

DURHAM – Duke softball seniors Kristina Foreman and Caroline Jacobsen have been tabbed to the ACC's All-Tournament Team, as the conference announced following the conclusion of the 2022 ACC Championship.
Foreman went 3-for-6 (.500) with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored, a stolen base and two walks (one intentionally). Her home run was one of the deepest of the tournament, putting the Blue Devils up early on Georgia Tech in the quarterfinal. The Tampa, Fla., becomes the first Blue Devil in program history to be named to two consecutive All-Tournament teams, after being tabbed to the 2021 team.
Jacobsen earns her first All-Tournament selection after back-to-back multi-RBI games. Jacobsen went 4-for-6 (.667) with four RBI, three runs scored and a double over the two games played. The Tallahassee, Fla., native hit a clutch two RBI single against Florida State to take a 6-5 lead and has recorded back-to-back multi-hit games for the first time this season.
The Blue Devils will await their NCAA Championship fate with the selection show scheduled for May 15 at 7 p.m.
