DURHAM – Duke football held a 125-play scrimmage on Saturday afternoon at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.
The Blue Devils were divided during the scrimmage with the offense accounting for one team and the defense the other. The two units battled back-and-forth, occasionally working on situational team drills and special teams, in between live play. Highlights from the day were touchdowns by sophomore Sahmir Hagans, junior Jontavis Robertson and rookie Terry Moore as well as a fourth-down goal line stand by the defense.
The Blue Devils return to the practice field Monday for their 12th spring workout. Duke has three practices remaining before its Blue & White Game, which is slated for Saturday, April 16 inside Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.
