DURHAM – Former Duke women's soccer star Imani Dorsey and the U.S. Women's National Team will be in action Tuesday night when they take on Uzbekistan in an international friendly at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
The match will be played at Subaru Park in Chester, Pa., as the U.S. team's final contest in the April FIFA international window. The USWNT will kick off qualifying stages for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup in July.
Dorsey aims to earn her second cap with the USWNT after making her debut on Nov. 30 against Australia. The defender from Elkridge, Md., was selected by head coach Vlatki Andonovski to participate in the team's annual January training camp, but was unable to attend due to injury.
The former first-team All-American has also started each of NJ/NY Gotham FC's four matches in the 2022 NWSL Challenge Cup. Gotham's next contest is Sunday, April 17 at 3 p.m. against the Washington Spirit.
