DURHAM β For the first time since the spring of 2019, the Duke field hockey team will play a traditional spring schedule as announced by head coach
Pam Bustin. Six games against five different opponents await the Blue Devils spanning from late March until early April.
The Blue Devils went to work in the weight room with sports performance coach
Jon McNemar upon return from winter break, and have been working tirelessly off the field to getting stronger and faster on the field.
The squad started spring practice Feb. 7 and is excited to go up against a different opponent after spring break. The Blue Devils start their spring break March 6 and return to campus March 14.
Duke opens the spring slate with a full day of action March 26. The Blue Devils welcome Wake Forest and Old Dominion to Durham, playing each for approximately 35 minutes. The opening game of the day takes place at 9:30 against Wake Forest. Duke caps the day with Old Dominion at 11:30.
The Blue Devils host Davidson next afternoon before spending the next weekend on the road at Wake Forest and Liberty.
Duke closes its spring schedule at North Carolina, April 9 at 10 a.m.
All games at Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium are free and open to the public.
