DURHAM – The Duke fencing team returns to Bull City to host the annual Duke Meet Saturday and Sunday in Card Gymnasium. Both days of competition will kick off at 8 a.m., with the final round at 4:30 p.m. Both days of competition will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra via WatchESPN.
The sixth-ranked Duke men are slated to go against Air Force, Boston College, Brandeis, Johns Hopkins and No. 3 Penn State while the 12th-ranked women will battle Air Force, Boston College, Brandeis, No. 7 Penn State and No. 9 Temple.
With two meets in the books, the Duke men are 8-1 while the women sit at 6-5.
Christina Ferrari (foil),
Alex Gorman (saber) and
Anneke Zegers (saber) lead the entire team with 23 victories each, while freshman
Vivi Buchmann (saber) owns 17 wins during her first season with the Blue Devils.
On the men's side, junior captain
Finn Hossfeld (foil) owns an impressive 17-5 record as he posted a nearly flawless 11-1 ledger at the Philadelphia Invitational.
Terence Lee (saber) and
Sam Gruber (foil) each have 15 wins to their name.

All guests and staff are required to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 (antigen or PCR) test result within 72 hours of the meet.
Guests and staff may upload their vaccination card or negative test for each event at DukeCheckIn.com. For those unable to complete a test prior to game day, no admittance will be granted.
PARKING INFORMATION
General Public Parking – will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis for ADA in the
Whitford Lot on Whitford Drive (GPS Address: 110 Whitford Drive) and
Science Drive Garage off of Cameron Blvd. (GPS Address: 302 Science Drive). There is no charge to park. For pedestrian routes from the parking areas to Card Gym, please see the Duke Fencing Meet Parking Map linked above. All pedestrian routes are accessible.
General Public Accessible Parking for Guests with Disabilities – is available in the
Whitford Lot (GPS Address: 110 Whitford Drive, Durham, NC 27708) located off Whitford Drive. Whitford drive can be accessed off Science Drive via either 751/Cameron Blvd or Towerview Rd. There will be a parking attendant on-site and no charge to park in the lot. The lot will open two (2) hours prior to the start of the match. If additional events cross over with the fencing competition, alternative parking may be required and will be communicated in a Parking & Traffic Alert on
