DURHAM – In anticipation for its 15th bowl appearance, Duke became onsite bowl game preparations on Saturday.
After arriving in Washington, D.C., on Friday, Duke took to the practice field for the first time Saturday afternoon at the St. James Sports Complex.
Donning full pads for a traditional Tuesday practice, Duke began the first phase of its final preparations for the Military Bowl on December 28 against UCF. A win against the Knights would be the Blue Devils' ninth victory of the year, giving Duke its most victories since going 9-4 during the 2014 season.
The Blue Devils continue the bowl festivities on Saturday evening with a welcome party, followed by a Military Bowl-sponsored monuments tour.
