Eleventh Annual First Pitch Banquet Set for Jan. 28

DURHAM – The Duke baseball program announced the date for its 11th annual First Pitch Banquet. The event will take place in the Blue Devil Tower in the Dejoy Club on Jan. 28, 2023.
The 2023 First Pitch Banquet will feature former Duke baseball player, and current Chicago Cubs prospect, Matt Mervis delivering the keynote speech.
"We could not be more excited for our 11th annual First Pitch Banquet," Head coach Chris Pollard said. "I am excited to connect with our former players, parents and supporters as we celebrate the 2023 season. The banquet is one of those dates on the calendar when all the stakeholders come together to celebrate and support the program. I am thrilled that Matt [Mervis] will be delivering our keynote speech. I have zero doubt that his message will resonate with the current team members."
