DURHAM – The Duke University Athletic Department along with Blue Devil Sports Properties from Learfield is pleased to announce the dates of the
Kara Lawson Radio Show for the 2022-23 campaign. The show will air from 6-7 p.m., at Grub in Durham, N.C., with the exception of one radio show date in mid-January slated to air from 5-6 p.m.
The
Kara Lawson Radio Show is slated for eight total dates during the season, beginning with the first show Monday, Dec. 5. Other confirmed dates include Dec. 12, Jan. 3, Jan. 9, Jan. 18 (5-6 p.m.), Jan. 24, Jan. 30 and Feb. 13.
Lawson, joined by host Chris Edwards, are set to air live on Buzz Sports Radio (620 AM) and the Varsity Network App. Grub is located at 1200 West Chapel Hill Street in Durham and can also be found at www.grubdurham.com.

Lawson enters her third year at the helm after leading the Blue Devils to a 17-13 overall record in 2021-22 that featured a pair of top-25 victories over No. 9/12 Iowa (Dec. 2) and No. 17 Notre Dame (Jan. 2). The Blue Devils also garnered their first national ranking since the 2018-19 preseason, ranking as high as 15th nationally in the AP poll.
Duke's roster features eight newcomers, five transfers and three freshmen, while also returning nine letterwinners from a season ago. With the mix of nine returners to go along with the newcomers, the excitement for the 2022-23 Duke women's basketball season is abundant in Durham.
