GREENSBORO - Duke swimming and diving concluded the third and final day of competition at the NC State Invite collecting five additional NCAA B-cut times to bring the season total to 31. The Blue Devils continued to rewrite the record books tallying five top program performances.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Redshirt senior Easop Lee swam the eighth fastest time in program history in the 200-yard backstroke (1:57.56).
- Sophomore Jack Christian also clocked the eighth fastest time in program history in the 200-yard backstroke on the men's side (1:46.00).
- Graduate student David Hallaron produced the second fastest time this season in the 200-yard backstroke, swimming a time of 1:46.93.
- In the 100-yard women's freestyle freshman Tatum Wall (49.90) and senior Sarah Snyder (49.94) swam the first and second fastest times this season.
- The trio of Brad Sanford (44.67), Charlie Gingrich (44.76) and Coleman Kredich (44.62) posted the top three times of the season for the men's 100-yard freestyle.
- Junior Sarah Foley broke a school record for the second consecutive day, shaving five seconds off her time on the season. She swam a 2:06.61 in the 200-yard breaststroke to earn a NCAA B-cut.
- Freshman Kaelyn Gridley also earned a NCAA B-cut in the 200-yard breaststroke, clocking in at 2:07.82. Junior Catherine Belyakov joined in on the B-cut action, posting a time of 2:13.66 in the event to claim a qualifying time.
- On the men's side of the 200-yard breaststroke, senior Will Tenpas posted the fastest time this season recorded by a Blue Devil, swimming a time of 2:00.04.
- Junior Catherine Purnell produced the fifth fastest time in program history in the 200-yard butterfly, swimming a NCAA B-cut time of 1:57.33. Graduate transfer Mia Leko also swam a NCAA B-cut time in the event, posting a time of 1:57.33.
- Freshman Martina Peroni continued her successful first campaign with the Blue Devils, tallying the third fastest all-time mark in the 200-yard butterfly, earning her a NCAA B-cut (1:55.87).
- Senior Chris Dalla Valle swam the fourth fastest time this season for the men's team in the 200-yard butterfly (1:52.71).

UP NEXT
- The Blue Devils will prepare for the US Open hosted in Greensboro, N.C., on Nov. 30 through Dec. 3. Select members of the Blue Devils' squad will compete, before traveling to Queens University on Dec. 3.
