NEED TO KNOW
•   The seventh-ranked Blue Devils (9-3, 4-1 ACC) will host 13th-ranked Pitt (11-2, 4-1) on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 1 p.m., at Koskinen Stadium. Â
•   Sunday's match will be aired live on ACC Network Extra with
Chris Edwards (PXP) and former Duke standout
Tess Boade (Color) on the call.
•   Duke is in the final contest of a three-match homestand, before closing the regular season with three out of four matches on the road.
•   The Blue Devils have won nine out of their last 10 ACC regular season contests with the lone loss coming against Virginia on Oct. 2.
•   In the latest NCAA RPI, Duke is eighth with its three losses coming to No. 1 UCLA, No. 4 Virginia and No. 5 North Carolina. The Blue Devils' schedule is currently ranked the eighth-toughest nationally.
•   Over the first nine matches, Duke featured a different starting lineup in each of those contests. The Blue Devils had the same lineup over the last four matches.
•   In 29 matches played at Duke,
Michelle Cooper has tallied at least a goal or assist in 22 of those contests.
•   The Blue Devils boast a 52-10-7 record at home at Koskinen Stadium since the start of the 2017 campaign.

•   With her start against Wake Forest, senior
Delaney Graham passed Tara Campbell (91) for the school record with 92 career starts.
•   Both Duke and Pitt are currently tied for second in the ACC with a 4-1 league mark.
•   In seven home matches in 2022, Duke has scored 10-of-13 goals in the first half.
•   Since Duke allowed a combined 27 shots against UNC and TCU, the Blue Devils have allowed only 23 shots over the last five matches.

Olivia Migli has assisted on goals in three out of the last four matches.
•   Duke is 3-3 versus ranked foes this season.Â
Michelle Cooper has scored six of the 13 goals for the Blue Devils.

•   Duke has been ranked in a school-record 38 straight weeks in the top 10. That streak, which dates back to Oct. 6, 2020, surpassed the 25 straight polls that listed Duke in the top 10 from 1992-95.
•   After allowing only five goals in the first 10 matches a year ago, the Blue Devils have allowed 11 goals in first 12 matches in 2022.

DUKE VS. PITTSBURGH
•   Duke and Pittsburgh have squared off six times since the first meeting in 2013, with the Blue Devils holding a 6-0 record against the Panthers.
•   It will mark the first meeting since Oct. 10, 2021 when the Blue Devils notched a 5-0 victory.Â
Katie Groff scored two goals, while
Michelle Cooper added a goal as well.
Tess Boade posted a goal and an assist.
SCOUTING THE PANTHERS
•   Pittsburgh enters the contest with an 11-2 overall and 4-1 league mark, but is coming off a 4-0 loss at North Carolina on Thursday.
•   The loss at UNC snapped a five-match winning streak.
•   The Panthers own four different players who have scored five or more goals -- Leah Pais (7), Landy Mertz (6), Amanda West (6) and Sarah Schupansky (5).
LAST TIME OUT
•   Duke received two goals in the first 12:25 of the match against Wake Forest from freshman
Kat Rader and went on to total a 2-1 win at home.
•   Rader finished her first goal at the 2:33 mark, which was the earliest goal of the season, off assists from
Maggie Graham and
Olivia Migli.
•   At the 12:25 mark, Rader finished her seventh goal of the season off an assist from
Michelle Cooper.

Michelle Cooper ranks first in points per game (2.18), first in points (24), first in goals per game (0.82), first in shots per game (4.55), first in goals (9), third in assists per game (.55) and fourth in assists (6).Â
Mackenzie Pluck ranks tied for third in assists (6) and fourth in assists per game (.50).Â
Kat Rader ranks tied for third in goals (7) and tied for fourth in goals per game (0.58). Â
•   In the NCAA stats, Cooper ranks 13th in goals per game (0.83), fifth in points per game (2.18), seventh in shots per game (4.55), tied for 16th in goals (9), tied for sixth in points (24) and tied for 19th in assists per game (.50). Pluck ranks tied for 23rd in assists (6) and tied for 27th in assists per game (.50).
