DURHAM – The Duke field hockey game at Old Dominion scheduled for Oct. 4 has been canceled due to forecasts for heavy rain and potential flooding in the Norfolk area.
The Blue Devils and Monarchs were originally slated to play Oct. 2 in Norfolk, but Duke was forced to move its contest at Wake Forest to this past Sunday day due to weather.
Duke returns home for its next contest, hosting No. 7 Virginia, Oct. 7 at 6 p.m. The Blue Devils hit the road two days later to take on Richmond, Oct. 9 at 1 p.m. Both games can be seen via the ESPN app.
