NEED TO KNOW
•   In the quarterfinals of the ACC Championship, No. 11 Duke (11-4-2) will travel to Charlottesville, Va., to face Virginia (12-2-3) at 8 p.m., on Sunday, Oct. 30.
•   Sunday's match will be aired live on ACC Network with Ariya Massoudi (PXP) and Kacey White (Color) on the call.
•   Duke will make its 32nd appearance in the ACC Championship and owns a 15-31-3 ledger.
•   Over the last 23 road matches, Duke owns a 15-5-3 record.
•   The Blue Devils feature a 5-1-2 ledger on the road so far this year. Duke will play its fourth road match out of the last five contests. Â

Kat Rader and
Michelle Cooper have scored the last six goals over the last two matches. Either Rader or Cooper have scored in nine of Duke's 17 matches.
•   In the latest NCAA RPI, Duke is eighth with its four losses coming to No. 1 UCLA, No. 2 North Carolina, No. 5 Florida State and No. 7 Virginia. The Blue Devils' schedule is currently ranked the eighth-toughest nationally.

STORYLINES/OTHER BLUE DEVIL NOTES
•   Sunday will feature the top two scorers in the ACC with Duke's
Michelle Cooper and Virginia's Haley Hopkins. Cooper owns an ACC-best 12 goals and 33 points, while Hopkins owns 11 goals and 26 points.
•   The winner of the Duke/UVA match will advance to the ACC Championship semifinals against No. 1 seed North Carolina on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 5:30 p.m., in Cary, N.C.
•   Duke will face its seventh top-10 team this season when the Blue Devils face No. 8 Virginia.

Jenna Royson collected her first assist as a Blue Devil at Notre Dame. She owns six over her career. Â

Devin Lynch owns assists in each of the last two matches off the bench and has three on the season.

Michelle Cooper and
Kat Rader combined for 14 goals. They ranked tied for second in the league with seven each. Cooper had ACC-best 20 points.

Michelle Cooper notched her sixth career multi-goal performance against Louisville, which already ranks tied for fourth on Duke's career charts along with Kim DeCesare (6). The Blue Devil record is 10 by Casey McCluskey (2001-04). Cooper owns four multi-goal games in 2022, which is tied for second on Duke's record book. DeCesare owns the record of five in 2012.

DUKE VS. VIRGINIA
•   Duke and Virginia will meet for the 47th time on Sunday with the Cavaliers leading the series 21-16-9.
•   The Blue Devils last win against the Cavaliers was a 1-0 shutout in November 2017 in Charleston, S.C., during the semifinals of the ACC Tournament; Duke's last win in Charlottesville was Oct. 26, 2017 with a 1-0 victory.
•   Duke is 6-11-4 against UVA in Charlottesville, Va., while the Blue Devils are 4-1-1 in the ACC Tournament vs. UVA.
•   Duke and Virginia have met only one time in Charlottesville for the ACC Tournament, which was Nov. 3, 2019 when the No. 1 Cavaliers won 1-0.
SCOUTING THE CAVALIERS
•   Virginia enters the contest with a 13-2-3 record and has won three straight entering the postseason.
•   Haley Hopkins leads the Cavaliers with 11 goals on the year and the Virginia defense has allowed only 10 goals on the season.
•   At home, the Cavaliers have totaled a 9-1-2 ledger.
•   Duke and Virginia will meet in the ACC Tournament for the seventh time with the Blue Devils leading 4-1-1.
•   The Blue Devils are 9-1-1 in the postseason against the Cavaliers.
IN THE ACC TOURNAMENT
•   Duke will see action in the ACC Tournament for the 32nd time in school history and owns a 15-31-3 record.
•   The Blue Devils have struggled in the event recently falling in five out of their last six contests.
•   If Duke were to win Sunday, the Blue Devils would make their 15th appearance in the ACC Tournament semifinals.

Robbie Church owns a 13-25-2 ledger in the ACC Tournament.
