DURHAM – The Duke softball team defeated UNC Greensboro, 8-2, in a fall exhibition game at Duke Softball Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

- Freshman Aminah Vega had two runs off two hits, a double and home run.
- Kamryn Jackson posted two doubles.
- Senior Gisele Tapia and sophomore Kelsey Zampa each reached base three times.
- Duke's pitchers of Jala Wright, Lillie Walker, Sophie Garner-MacKinnon and Claire Davidson combined for seven strikeouts. Garner-MacKinnon was strong out of the bullpen to get the Blue Devils out of a jam.
- The Blue Devils concluded the fall ball season with a 5-1-1 record and prepare to take the field one final time this fall for the annual fall world series on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at noon.
