DURHAM – Duke field hockey senior
Hannah Miller is one of 38 seniors selected to the 2022 Victory Sports Tours/NFHCA Division I Senior Game as announced by the organization Thursday afternoon.
All five NCAA Division I regions are represented on the list of 2022 honorees. The selected student-athletes were nominated by their NFHCA member coach and were chosen based on their career accomplishments. The selected seniors are given the opportunity to represent their institution while competing against their peers.
A four-year starter for Duke, Miller paces the Blue Devils offense this season with five goals and a career-best nine assists for 19 points. Her nine assists are tied for the most in the ACC, while her 0.60 assists per game average is second in the league and 22nd nationally.
In her four seasons at Duke, Miller has started all 69 games she has played. She has 23 goals and 17 assists for 63 career points to rank tied for 25th in career goals and is 26th in career points.
Miller, a co-captain this season, earned NFHCA All-Region honors in 2019 and is a three-time selection to the NFHCA National Academic squad and the ACC Academic Honor Roll. She was voted to the All-ACC Academic Team in 2019 and 2021.
This year, the Division I Senior Game will take place in conjunction with the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Championship in Storrs, Connecticut. The Senior Game is projected for 2:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the University of Connecticut.
Duke returns to the field Oct. 26 at Longwood at 3 p.m. The Blue Devils wrap up the regular season against No. 1 North Carolina Oct. 29 at 12 p.m.
