DURHAM – New York Jets cornerbackMichael Carter II and Indianapolis Colts running backDeon Jackson, highlighted the 13 former Blue Devils that appeared in the sixth week of play in the National Football League.
On Sunday afternoon in Green Bay, Carter II tied his season-high with five tackles to help the Jets improve to 4-2 on the season after they defeated the Packers, 27-10.
In Indianapolis, Jackson paced the Colts' offense for the second consecutive week, carrying the ball 12 times for 42 yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The former Blue Devils running back scampered for a three-yard touchdown late in the third quarter. In addition, Jackson added 10 catches for 79 yards, bringing his total offensive yardage on the day to 121. The Colts improved to 3-2-1 on the year after they defeating the Jaguars, 34-27.
New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones completed his fourth game-winning drive of the 2022 season on Sunday, using three plays to score the go-ahead touchdown with 1:07 left to play. Jones finished 19-27 passing for 173 yards and two touchdowns, as the Giants improved to 5-1 on the season after defeating the Baltimore Ravens, 24-20.
