DURHAM – Indianapolis Colts running backDeon Jackson and New York Giants quarterbackDaniel Jones highlighted the 13 former Blue Devils that appeared in the fifth week of play in the National Football League.
On Thursday night in Denver, Jackson paced the Colts' offense carrying the ball 13 times for 62 yards. He added four receptions for 29 yards, including a 21-yard scamper early in the first quarter. The Colts improved to 2-2-1 on the season after they defeated the Broncos, 12-9.
In London, Jones finished 21-of-27 passing for 217 yards and added 10 carries for 37 yards. The former Blue Devils quarterback led his third game-winning drive of the season as the Giants defeated the Green Bay Packers, 27-22.
Chicago Bears offensive linemanLucas Patrick played 50 snaps and helped his unit not allow a sack against the Minnesota Vikings.
Los Angeles Chargers offensive linemanMatt Skura and Buffalo Bills linebackerJoe Giles-Harris were both elevated to the 53-man roster prior to the weekend's games. Giles-Harris recorded a special teams tackle in his first game action.
