DURHAM – Duke Athletics announced Wednesday significant gameday enhancements for fans coming to Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium during the 2021 football season.

Some of the changes include alcohol sales, improved concession options and faster entry times.Â

Here is a full breakdown of the enhancements:
 Concessions
With a new state-of-the-art point of sale system, Duke concessions are now cashless which will lead to decreased wait times at all stands. Concessions will now accept credit cards, Apple pay and Duke Flex as payment options.

In addition to the favorite food and drink items, Trident Provisions, Duke's new concession partner, has created a culinary gameday menu with healthier and vegetarian options.
- Summer grilled chicken wrap with kettle chips
- Seasonal garden salad with home-made dressing
-Â Grilled impossible burger on a potato roll with kettle chip
- Roasted vegetable and hummus wrap with kettle chip
- Seasonal fruit salad with yogurt dipping sauce.

Duke and Trident have also partnered with numerous North Carolina based companies to bring local flavors into the stadium. Some of those options include: Gonza Tacos, Bojangles, Hog Heaven, Lindy's Italian Ice and Hampton Farms Peanuts. Duke will continue to be proud to serve soft drink and water options from Coca-Cola.

Alcohol Sales
Duke is excited to announced that fans 21 years and older will now have the opportunity to purchase beer, seltzer and hard cider inside Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium. More information regarding the sale of beer will be unveiled in the coming weeks including options, pricing, and locations.
 New Fan Friendly Bag Policy
Duke has modified its bag policy to allow fans to enter the stadium with their belongings using a clear bag.
All bags and purses must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and no larger than 12" x 12" x 6". Small clutches/wallets smaller than 8" x 5" x 1" and one-gallon clear plastic storage bags are also permitted. Duke Stores merchandise bags require day-of receipt of purchase for entry. Guests with permitted bags containing medical and/or childcare needs may elect to use the designated Medical/Family Lane at each gate screening area.

All season ticket holders will receive two complimentary, Duke branded clear bags to use this season. Duke branded clear bags will be sold for $4 at the Duke Team Store, the University Store, the Lobby Shop and the East Campus Convenience Store and on game day at merchandise concessions stands throughout the concourse.

 Faster Entry Times
Duke continues to strive to make getting to your seat as safely and easily as possible. New in 2021 will be upgraded technology that is coupled with the stadium clear bag policy that will make entry screening easier and faster for guests.

Fans are encouraged to keep cell phones, keys, and wallets in their pockets and/or in their clear bags as they walk through stadium entry points.
 Blue Devil Skills Challenge
Kids of all ages are invited to show off their football talent and take part in the Blue Devils Skills Challenge. The exciting new feature is located on the north side of the stadium, outside of the Yoh Football Center. Kids will be able to participate in timed speed tests, throwing and kicking accuracy games and much more.

Fans will be able to access the area from inside the stadium starting 90 minutes prior to kickoff and ending after halftime through the stadium gate behind Section 11.
