Duke Holds Annual Campus Cleanup

DURHAM – Members of the Blue Devil football team participated in the program's annual campus cleanup project Tuesday morning by picking up trash and debris as well as spreading mulch around the grounds.
The squad split into five groups and tackled the main areas of the West Campus. Each player was armed with a bag and spent an hour picking up garbage before depositing the findings into trash bins. In all, the Blue Devils amassed hundreds of pounds of trash that was hauled away from campus. This year, one group was also tasked with spreading mulch in natural areas around campus.

Duke's season opener is slated for Friday, September 3 at Charlotte. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Jerry Richardson Stadium.
