DURHAM – Following Thursday's Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Kickoff Weekend Draft, No. 36 Duke is set to compete in the Columbia Regional, hosted by the University of South Carolina.

The No. 2 seeded Blue Devils will face off against third-seeded Liberty on Saturday, Jan. 29 at the Carolina Tennis Center at 2 p.m. No. 13 ranked South Carolina, the top seed and regional host site, will take on fourth-seeded LSU at 11 a.m.

The winners of each match will advance to the championship on Sunday, Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. There will also be a consolation match played on Sunday at 11 a.m. The regional winner then advances to the 2022 ITA National Team Championship round of 16, which will be hosted by the University of Washington at the Lloyd Nordstrom Tennis Center in Seattle.

The Blue Devils competed in last year's ITA Kickoff Weekend in Chapel Hill, dropping matches to then No. 20 South Carolina and Northwestern, by 4-1 and 4-0 decisions, respectively. Heading into this year's event, Duke has won seven of its last 11 ITA Kickoff matches.
