DURHAM – Freshman
Darcy Bourne was named to the 2021 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) All-America First Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday night.

The midfielder was one of 48 student-athletes who received All-America honors during the live NFHCA Awards Show. Bourne's selection comes as the 56th all-time in program history.

Following her All-South Region First Team selection, Bourne reeled in the first All-America accolade of her young career. During her rookie year, she started all 16 games while leading the Blue Devils with eight goals, 17 points and 46 shots. The Esher, England, native finished fourth in the ACC in shots and goals and seventh in points.

She was tabbed the ACC Freshman of the Year and was an All-ACC First Team selection after an impressive rookie campaign at Duke.
