The Blue Devils ranked 25th in the USA Today/NFCA Division I Preseason Coaches Poll and climbed as high as No. 11 in the USA Today/NFCA DI Top 25 Coaches Poll.
Duke was one of two ACC programs receiving the award as Virginia Tech was named the Mid-Atlantic Regional Staff of the Year.
