DURHAM – The league office announced the ACC Women's Golfer of the Month for April with Duke University women's golf junior
Gina Kim earning accolades.
During the month, Kim claimed the ACC Individual Championship and helped lead the Blue Devils to two team titles.
At the ACC Championship, Kim turned in an impressive run shooting 68, 69 and 69 for a 10-under, 206, to claim medalist honors. She became only the second ACC golfer to post three straight rounds in the 60s, while also tying for the second-lowest under-par score in conference history at 10-under.

Kim, who is from Chapel Hill, N.C., went 2-0 in match play competition, clinching the Blue Devils' wins over Virginia and Florida State to help Duke take home the ACC team title. She defeated sixth-ranked Beatrice Wallin of Florida State, 3&2, and knocked off Jennifer Cleary of Virginia, 3&2. It was Duke's 22nd overall ACC Championship.

Earlier in April, she posted a 2-1 record in the Cavalier Match Play helping lead the Blue Devils to the team title.
Duke has been seeded No. 1 in the Columbus Regional and will open action Monday, May 10 as the Blue Devils try to advance to the NCAA Championship in Arizona.
