DURHAM – No. 34 Duke saw
Garrett Johns,
Sean Sculley and
Andrew Zhang all garner All-ACC recognition, the league announced Thursday.

Johns was tabbed to the second team, while Sculley and Zhang were third team selections. The all-league honor was a first for all three players.

Johns, ranked No. 74 nationally, has served as Duke's No. 1 singles player all year, going 9-9 overall with a victory over No. 34 Adria Soriano Barrera of Miami. He has played all but one doubles match on the top court and boasts a 10-10 mark on the year. The Atlanta, Ga., native clinched two matches for Duke and had 5-of-10 matches against ranked opponents go unfinished.

Sculley, who's bounced between Duke's No. 2 and 3 singles positions, holds a 6-4 record, including a 3-3 mark in ACC action. He finished the regular season 1-2 against ranked opponents with his lone victory coming against No. 118 Connor Thomson of No. 20 South Carolina. Sculley clinched two matches for the Blue Devils in singles action, including a victory at the No. 2 spot in a 5-2 win over No. 40 Liberty.

In doubles action, Johns and Sculley have been Duke's hottest pair registering a 9-8 record to earn the No. 20 national ranking. The duo has held a top-20 national ranking throughout the entire season and has gone 4-5 against ranked opponents. The twosome's most recent victory came verses No. 45 Fabien Salle and Matthew Fung of No. 49 Louisville in the ACC Championship second round.

Zhang leads the Blue Devils with a 12-5 mark in singles action and has been in the No. 3 position for the latter portion of the season. He wrapped up the regular season at 5-0 in that position and led the team with a 4-3 record in ACC play. The Bloomfield Hills, Mich., product won three of his final four league matches, including clinching victories for Duke over Florida State and No. 43 Miami.
For Zhang in doubles action, the sophomore has played mostly with teammates
Edu Güell and
Michael Heller at the No. 2 spot. Overall, Zhang holds a team-best 13-6 mark in doubles action, including a 6-3 ledger in ACC play.

The top individual winners in the league this year were Virginia's Carl S
öderlund, who was the ACC's Player of the Year, and Wake Forest's Henri Squire as Freshman of the Year. Virginia's Andres Pedroso was named the ACC Coach of the Year.
