Jaravee Boonchant has collected her first professional victory in her home country of Thailand. Ā
Boonchant, a 2021 Duke graduate, competed on the Thai LPGA Tour and carded a 12-under-par ledger of 204 at the BGC Thailand LPGA Masters.Ā She won by one stroke over Chanette Wannasan.Ā Boonchant registered rounds of 68, 68 and 68 over three days, while leading the field with a total of 16 birdies.
A four-time All-America selection with the Blue Devils, Boonchant will continue to play on the Thai LPGA Tour until 2022, when she is expected to compete on the Symetra Tour in the United States. Ā
