DURHAM – New York Jets defensive back Michael Carter II returned to the starting lineup and recorded five tackles in a tight 31-24 loss to the Miami Dolphins to highlight 12 former Duke football players during the 15th week of play in the National Football League.

In addition, Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder totaled three receptions for 21 yards and long snapper Thomas Hennessy assisted the special teams unit on a 27-yard field goal and punt for an average of 46.5 yards.

Veteran offensive linemen Lucas Patrick (Green Bay) and Laken Tomlinson (San Francisco) also started for their respective teams in winning efforts. Patrick helped the Packers clinch a playoff berth with a narrow 31-30 win at Baltimore, while Tomlinson assisted in the 49ers' 31-13 victory over Atlanta.

Oakland Raiders tight end Daniel Helm made his first career NFL start on Monday and recorded the first reception of his career in a late-game 16-14 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Rookie linebacker Chris Rumph II recorded three tackles for the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night as the team came up short to Kansas City in overtime, 34-28.
