DURHAM – New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones and offensive guard Matt Skura led New York to a 23-16 win on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders to highlight 13 former Duke football players during the ninth week of play in the National Football League.

Jones enjoyed an efficient day passing, finishing 15-of-20 for 110 yards and a touchdown for a quarterback rating of 104.2. Skura started at left guard for the Giants, playing all 56 offensive snaps in the win. Tight end Daniel Helm made his season debut for the Raiders in the game against the Giants as well.

Four Blue Devils were in the spotlight on Thursday night as the New York Jets traveled to the Indianapolis Colts. Rookie Deon Jackson saw action in the game and helped Indianapolis to a 45-30 victory at home. Jets wide receiver Jamison Crowder and cornerback Michael Carter IIeach recorded starts, totaling five receptions for 38 yards and three tackles, respectively. Thomas Hennessy served as the Jets' long snapper, assisting the special teams unit to punt three times for 156 yards (52.0).

Rookies Victor Dimukeje (Arizona), Noah Gray (Kansas City) and Chris Rumph II(Los Angeles Chargers) each saw action as their teams won in week nine. Dimukeje's Cardinals improved to a league-best 8-1 on the season after topping San Francisco, 31-17, while Gray and the Chiefs defeated Green Bay, 13-7. Rumph II and the Chargers recorded a fourth-quarter win on the road at Philadelphia, 27-24.
