DURHAM – No. 13 ranked and third-seeded Duke (11-3-1, 5-2-1 ACC) will play host to sixth-seeded Wake Forest (11-5-1, 4-3-1 ACC) on Sunday at 2 p.m., in Koskinen Stadium.
The Co-ACC Coastal Division champions found out their opponent Wednesday night following the conclusion of the first round of the ACC Tournament in which the Demon Deacons defeated Virginia 3-0.
Duke, who earned a bye in the opening round of the tournament, will face Wake Forest for the first time this season. The two teams last met on Oct. 23, 2020, with the Blue Devils dropping a 2-1 decision to then No. 2 ranked Wake Forest. The Blue Devils are 4-3-2 all-time against the Demon Deacons in the ACC Tournament, with one of those wins securing Duke's most recent ACC title in 2006.
