Setting the Scene...
Riding a five-game winning streak to open the season, the Duke women's basketball team (5-0) hosts Troy (3-2) on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 2 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium. The game will be carried live on ACC Network with Roy Philpott (PXP) and Christy Thomaskutty (Color). It will also be carried on the Blue Devil Sports Network via WDNC AM 620, the Varsity Network app and www.GoDuke.com with Chris Edwards (PXP) on the air beginning at 1:45 p.m.

Duke will face eighth-ranked Iowa (4-0) on Thursday, Dec. 2 at 9 p.m., live on ESPN.
A Look at Troy...
Troy enters Sunday's contest with a 3-2 record and is led by Amber Leggett (14.4 points), Felmas Koranga (12.6 points, 11.6 rebounds) and Brianna Harris (10.6 points, 6.2 rebounds). So far this season, the Trojans are 0-2 on the road with losses coming to Missouri and Mercer.
The Series with Troy...
Troy and Duke face off for the second time in program history, with the Blue Devils leading the series, 1-0. The two teams haven't met since 2019.
In the last meeting, Duke won 99-85 on Nov. 24, 2019 in Durham.
Duke Versus the Sun Belt Conference...
Duke owns a 18-6 record against opponents in the Sun Belt Conference --Appalachian State (11-4), Arkansas State (2-0), Georgia Southern (2-1), Georgia State (1-1), South Alabama (1-0) and Troy (1-0). The Blue Devils have won 15 consecutive contests against the Sun Belt Conference.

Celeste Taylor dished a career-high seven assists versus App State.
• Duke has won eight straight non-conference games, the most since 2016-17 season when the Blue Devils also won eight straight (only loss was at Vanderbilt). The last time Duke won nine straight non-conference contests was 2013-14 when it won 10 in a row.
• Duke scored 33 points in the third quarter against App State, which was the second-most in a quarter by the Blue Devils in school history. The Blue Devils outscored the Mountaineers, 33-13, in the quarter and went on to win the contest.

Lexi Gordon has hit 10-of-21 three-pointers in the first half this season for a 47.6 percentage. She has drained a total of 16 treys on the year.

Amaya Finklea-Guity came off the bench to score 11 points and pull down five boards in 18 minutes against App State - all season highs.

Jade Williams scored all of her 14 points in the second half against Alabama, including the final two buckets to help push Duke past the Crimson Tide in the Maggie Dixon Classic.
• The Blue Devils feature eight different players that have drained at least one 3-pointer on the season, while five have hit four or more.
• This is the first time Duke is 5-0 to start a season since 2014-15. The Blue Devils opened the 2013-14 campaign with a 10-0 ledger.

Shayeann Day-Wilson's 3.80 assists per game average ranks second in the ACC among freshmen (Olivia Miles of Notre Dame, 8.20).

Lexi Gordon will face one of her former teammates on Sunday as Jada Walton of Troy heads to Durham.
The two played together at Texas Tech for two seasons, but Walton did not compete due to an injury in 2020-21 and transfer rules in 2019-20.
Day-Wilson Providing Spark...
Rookie
Shayeann Day-Wilson has provided a big spark off the bench to open the season. At Dayton, she scored eight straight first quarter points, before going on to finish the game with a career-high 13 points on 5-of-7 field goals. She added 11 points against Alabama and then scored a career-high 14 points versus App State.
Over the last two games, Day-Wilson has averaged 12.5 points, 4.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 assists.
Day-Wilson played a career-high 29 minutes against App State and had five assists, one steal and three rebounds to go along with her career-high 14 points.
Home Sweet Home...
Duke owns a 3-0 record at home this season and is hitting 48.3 percent from the field in those contests, while averaging 85.0 points.
Lexi Gordon has drained 10-of-19 treys for a 52.6 percentage, while hitting 13-of-23 field goals (56.5%). The Blue Devils are also averaging 9.0 blocks and 20.3 assists a game at home.
Taylor Bringing All-Around Game...
Junior
Celeste Taylor has been impressive in a Duke uniform, averaging 13.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 3.0 assists on the year.
Taylor recently collected a season-high 21 points, while hitting a season-high three treys, against Alabama. It marked the seventh time over her career she has notched 20+ points.
She scored double-digits in the first four contests, before collecting seven points versus App State.
Taylor is only player in the ACC averaging over 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 3.0 assists.

Miela Goodchild needs 12 three-pointers to move into a tie for 10th on Duke's career 3-pointers made list. She owns 130 over four seasons.

Gordon Drains 16 Treys in First Five Games...
Graduate transfer
Lexi Gordon has drained 16 three-pointers over the first five games to open the season, which ranks second in Duke history behind Tricia Liston (17 in 2013-14).
Gordon's 11 treys through three games matched Nicole Erickson for the most to open a season in Duke history. Erickson accomplished the mark in 1997-98.
The most 3-pointers made through six contests is 21 by Liston in 2013-14.
Gordon currently ranks second in the ACC in 3-point field goal percentage (53.3).
Blue Devils From Downtown...
Duke has drained 43 treys over the first five games, which is the most in school history. The most through the opening six games of a season was 42 in 2013-14.
The Blue Devils are averaging 8.60 three-pointers per game, which ranks third in the ACC.
Duke has also attempted a school-record 126 three-pointers through five games, which is 38 more than the previous high of 88 in 2002-03 and 1997-98.
