Duke University no longer requires masks/face coverings in outdoor congregate settings, including Duke Athletic events in outdoor venues. Individuals are encouraged to carry a mask to wear in the event physical distancing cannot be effectively maintained in an outdoor setting. Please respect anyone who chooses to continue wearing masks as a means to prevent exposure to themselves or loved ones.

Duke University still requires masks/face coverings in indoor public spaces for all individuals regardless of vaccination status. This indoor mask mandate applies to all Duke Athletic events in indoor venues and in all indoor areas associated with game day at outdoor events (e.g. restrooms, press boxes, indoor premium/hospitality areas, etc.).
Masks/face coverings are required for all guests over the age of five regardless of vaccination status.
Masks/face coverings are required at all times except when actively eating or drinking.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a contagious disease that can lead to severe illness, with individuals over 65 years of age and with underlying medical conditions being especially vulnerable. By attending an athletic event on the campus of Duke University, the individual assumes all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.Â

Guests are encouraged to make the right choice for their own safety and the safety of others around them. Duke will continue to prioritize the health and safety of our extended community. Duke expects all individuals to be fully vaccinated before attending events on the Duke University campus and to adhere to university, local, and state guidelines. No proof of vaccination or negative test result is required for athletic events other than men's and women's basketball.Â
 Blue Devil Tower and Stadium Gates will open to guests at 6:00 PM. All concourse and tower amenities and services will be open and available to guests at this time.

Game Day Traffic – Heavy traffic is expected on the roadways around campus as employees depart at the same time guests arrive for game day. Duke Athletics, Parking and Transportation Services, and Duke Police encourage all game day guests to follow the recommended directions for Iron Duke Parking Lots, General Public Lots, RV/OV Lot and Bus Parking. Please follow the direction of uniformed officers and staff on the roads around campus and the information on the electronic signage located around campus. Please understand that traffic control officers are unable to answer questions without causing traffic delays. NC 751/Cameron Blvd. Traffic Patterns – To help reduce congestion and delays on NC 751/Cameron Blvd. when arriving on campus, please review the following routes and lane assignments:
Traveling South on NC 751 (approaching campus from US-15/501 Exit 107):
General Public Parking – Turn Left at Erwin Road
Iron Duke Parking Permits – Use Left Lane after Erwin Road intersection
General Public Accessible Parking – Use Left Lane after Erwin Road intersection
Thru Traffic – Use Right Lane
Traveling North on NC 751 (approaching campus from Academy Road):

Traffic Checkpoints – For all Duke Football home games, checkpoints are set-up on the roads surrounding campus to keep only necessary traffic on the interior roads of campus. Checkpoints will become active on Thursday, November 18th at 5:00 PM. All Iron Duke Football Parking Permit holders must have their permits hanging from their rearview mirror as they approach for access at these checkpoints and their designated lots. Checkpoints are located at the following intersections:

Rideshare/Taxi Services – have a designated drop-off/pick-up location on Frank Bassett Drive, in front of Blue Devil Tower. The drop-off/pick-up point must be accessed off of NC 751/Cameron Blvd. due to game day traffic restrictions. Services attempting to drop-off/pick-up at other locations near the stadium will be denied access and directed to this location. There is no game day parking in this location – 20-minute drop-off/pick-up zone only.

Iron Duke Parking – All Iron Duke lots will open at 5:00 PM on Thursday, November 18th. No lot access is permitted prior to this time due to normal daily campus operations. Vehicles are not permitted to park or queue on the side of campus roadways waiting for lots to open. Vehicles that do so will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.
General Public Parking Hours –General public park & walk lotswill open at 5:00 PM on Thursday, November 18th. General public courtesy shuttle lots will open at 5:30 PM. No lot access is permitted prior to this time due to normal daily campus operations. There is NO CHARGE to park for regular-sized vehicles in game day general public parking lots. Vehicles are not permitted to park or queue on the side of campus roadways waiting for lots to open. Vehicles that do so will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.
General Public Courtesy Shuttle Lots – are located in the GC Lot and H Lot off of Erwin Road at the Duke University Medical Center (Yellow Zone). Pick-up/drop-off points for the courtesy shuttle are located next to the parking areas on Yearby Avenue. The shuttle will run every 15 – 20 minutes, depending on traffic volume, and will drop-off/pick-up at the Duke Chapel. The shuttle bus is accessible for guests with disabilities.

General Public Parking for Guests with Disabilities – is located in the Blue Zone B-2 and B-4 Lots on Wannamaker Drive with access only from Duke University Road. There is no charge to park. Accessible lift-equipped vans will be available from all General Public Parking Lots as needed for guests needing wheelchair lift assistance. Please notify the parking lot attendant upon arrival to request van assistance. Drop-off/pick-up points at the stadium are located outside the Wilson Gate (east concourse), at the Whitford Drive circle (Will Call, Bostock Gate, Tribull Plaza, north concourse), and at the Grounds Lot bus stop (Powers Gate, Blue Devil Tower, west concourse).

RV/OV Parking - will be located in the GC Lot off of Yearby Avenue. A limited number of RV/OV Parking spots are available and must be purchased through Duke Parking & Transportation Services. All sales, including those at the lot entrance, will be online.
RV/OV Parking Hours – GC Lot will open for RV/OV parking ONLY on Wednesday, November 17th from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM and on Thursday, November 18th at 12:00 PM. All RV/OV vehicles must be clear by Friday, November 19th at 6:00 AM.

Bus Parking – will be located in the DU Road 2 Lot on Duke University Road. A limited number of Bus Parking spots are available and must be reserved prior to game day by contacting the Duke Ticket Office. Buses that drop-off/pick-up guests (i.e. no tailgating) will park free of charge. Buses that host group tailgates, etc. will be considered RV/OVs and will be directed to RV/OV parking (see above).
Bus Drop-off/Pick-up Point – is located at the roundabout on Towerview Road and must be accessed off of Duke University Road. After dropping off guests, buses will be directed to the DU Road 2 Lot for parking. Buses are permitted to pick-up their guests at the roundabout and must be staged at the start of the 4th quarter. All buses will be staged facing Duke University Road for departure.
 Stadium Clear Bag Policy – Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium has a CLEAR BAG POLICY. All bags must by clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and less than 12" x 12"x 6" – including medical & childcare bags. Small wristlets/clutches (less than 5" x 8" x 1") with or without a strap are permitted. Duke Stores merchandise bags with receipt for game day purchase (all other prohibited items restrictions apply).
 Game Day Ticket Information – visit www.GoDuke.com/tickets to purchase and utilize Digital Tickets for game day. All tickets will be scanned at the stadium gates for entry.
 Accessibility Accommodations – For information on stadium accessible seating, accommodations, and services, please review the Accessibility Services by visiting www.GoDuke.com/FBgameday.
 Stadium Lighting Effects - Stadium lighting effects will be used on game day. Guests suffering from epilepsy or other visual light stimulation effects are advised to see stadium medical staff at the concourse First Aid stations located behind Section 3, 18, and 28 and each floor of Blue Devil Tower for assistance.
