Chuasiriporn to be Inducted into WGCA Players Hall of Fame

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) announced Thursday that former Duke four-time All-American Jenny Chuasiriporn will be inducted into the WGCA Players Hall of Fame on Dec. 5, 2021. The ceremony will take place at Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas, Nev.
Chuasiriporn along with Lizette Salas of Southern California and Kristen White of Ohio State will become the 79th, 80th and 81st members of the WGCA Players Hall of Fame.
In four years at Duke, Chuasiriporn helped lead the Blue Devils to four ACC Championships and the 1999 NCAA Title. She earned ACC Rookie of the Year honors in 1996 before going on to win ACC Player of the Year three straight seasons (1997, 1998, 1999). The Timonium, Md., native was also the first player in conference history to win multiple ACC individual championships after claiming back-to-back titles in 1996 and 1997.
A four-time WGCA All-American, including First Team honors her final three seasons, Chuasiriporn
capped of her senior year by winning the Golfstat Cup after leading the nation in stroke average (72.94). The 1998 U.S. Women's Open runner-up currently ranks fourth in school history with seven career wins.
Chuasiriporn will be the fourth Blue Devil to be inducted into the hall of fame – Liz Janangelo (2019), Virada Nirapathpongporn (2016) and Amanda Blumenherst (2015).
