Erica Shepherd was one of 15 golfers listed on the final Fall ANNIKA Award Watch List presented by Stifel, as announced Monday by the Fred Haskins Foundation. Â
In addition to Shepherd, the list included Hannah Darling (South Carolina), Blanca Fernandez Garcia (Texas A&M), Isabella Fierro (Oklahoma State), Sabrina Iqbal (TCU), Julia Johnson (Ole Miss), Auston Kim (Vanderbilt), Cindy Kou (Southern California), Aline Krauter (Stanford), Rachel Kuehn (Wake Forest), Ingrid Lindblad (LSU), Brooke Matthews (Arkansas), Caley McGinty (Oklahoma State), Calynne Rosholt (Arizona State) and Rose Zhang (Stanford). Â
Shepherd is coming off turning in a second-place ledger at the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational. She carded rounds of 66, 70 and 70 for a career-best 10-under par, 206. During the fall season, Shepherd has produced a 71.56 stroke average to go along with six even or under par rounds and is currently ranked No. 14 nationally in the Golfweek individual rankings. Shepherd, who hails from Greenwood, Ind., has carded a second place and fourth place ledger out of three tournaments this fall. Â
Shepherd and the Blue Devils are set to compete in the East Lake Cup, which will take place Oct. 25-27 at the historic East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Ga. Golf Channel will be providing live coverage of the event starting at 2:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 25. Â
